Delving into the processes and techniques that create the sensual, explosive and dense images of Contemporary Art have not only inspired Laurel personally, but have given her the confidence to develop her experiences into a consulting business dedicated to bringing Fine Art of all genres to those seeking to illuminate their lives with art. Nothing continues to give more pleasure, desire and meaning to one's habitat than well selected art. It is the one acquisition that continues to grow in value as well as meaning. As the artists one collects mature, the work increases in tangible value, but on a deeper level, it becomes embedded in the daily ritual and meaning of your life. Unlike other things we bring into our lives, it is not something that one grows tired of or grows out of, but instead, something the entire space evolves around. A well researched and carefully collected body of work becomes an expression of ones values and point of view.

Laurel gains immense pleasure from helping others procure art for their collection and arrange for the sale and acquistion of new pieces. She will provide a very personal and unique experience for the seasoned collector and those beginning, with some trepidation, to build a collection of Fine Art. She will work with you on every level to ensure that you are able to obtain the art of your choosing...especially during these troubled economic times. She feels passionately that it is her job to ensure that you are able to invest in a piece of Fine Art.

Separate from her duties as Studio Director at The Studio On Slough Road, Laurel has worked with designers, businesses and individuals to pair Fine Art with those as passionate about art as she is. Laurel represents a number of artists with whom she can broker a sale or she can use her contacts in the art world to find exactly what you are looking for. As a wheelchair user Laurel is extremely proud that she and Kathleen are able to offer The Studio Experience and elegant Art Receptions to all members of the community by being mobility friendly. Unfortunately, this type of access is all too limited, not only on Cape Cod, but everywhere. The Studio's policy of trying to be as inclusive as possible is something that The Studio on Slough Road will continue to pursue fervently. Laurel is committed to keeping The Studio Experience a personalized, intimate experience, dedicated not only to the viewing and purchasing of Fine Art, but also to bringing all members of the Arts Community together and making them accessible to as many people as possible.
